Love God and God’s Children
We believe in following the example of Jesus. We value every person and treat one another with love and care. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds by sharing the gospel, fostering engagement, and nurturing discipleship.
(Rom. 3:21-26, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
Biblical Focus
We believe the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God for life transforming relationships in and with Jesus Christ.
The Bible is the center of all we believe and do.
(Psalm 1:1-3, Proverbs 24:14, 2 Timothy 3:16–17, John 1:1–5)
Prayer
We believe nothing can be accomplished until God’s people spend time in prayer. We are intentional in praying for God’s guidance in our worship, ministries, and our lives. We pray for each other, our church, our neighbors,
our community, and the world.
(1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, James 5:16, Matthew 18:18–19, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Colossians 4:2)
Culturally Relevant Communication of Scriptural Truths
We believe it is essential to convey God’s sacred Word clearly to all. We seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to be creative so we may stay culturally relevant while still staying true to the Word of God.
(Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 5:14-15, Romans 10:14-15)
Utilization of Spiritual Gifts and Talents
We believe our spiritual gifts and talents were given to us by God for the benefit of the church and the building of God’s Kingdom. We are nurturing, developing, and utilizing our spiritual gifts in service to the Lord locally, nationally, and internationally and in building up, strengthening, and growing leaders in the church.
(1 Corinthians 12:4-7, Ephesians 4:11-13)
Time, Talent, and Treasures
We believe it is vital to be good stewards of all God has given us. Therefore, we are committed to giving of ourselves, our time, our talents, our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness to be all God has called us be in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
(1 Peter 4:10)
Building Bridges
We believe it is our sacred duty to reach out to everyone we can to share God’s love and grace. We seek to bring the lost to God as well as encourage one another to grow in our relationship with God.
We are committed to serving rather than being served so that God will be glorified.
(Isaiah 40:31, Romans 8:38–39, Acts 2:42–47, Hebrews 10:24–25)
